The answer was “Christian Dior” but we also accepted Givenchy and Caroline Testout.  The only answer that wasn’t acceptable was “red rose named after a famous French fashion designer” because that was part of the clue!

No? Well I will have to wait until Valentine’s day, won’t I? Yes, that is sneaking up on us. If you are like me you forget it until the last minute and then do a mad dance trying to find something ’significant’ and meaningful to give your partner.

Club Zamboo is running a Valentine’s Day event called “Kiss Me” on 30 January.  This is to allow time for postage of items so they are safely with you for that special day.

There will be an online competition for you with prizes.  Check out our puzzle by Crosswords for Fun.  There will be special lovey-dovey offers from our Club Zamboo sponsors.    There will be giveaways too!

**We are also looking for people to submit recipes, stories or poems all to do with Valentine’s Day.  We will be publishing these in an ebook for our members to keep.  If you have something that you would like to have included (you can be anon if you want to) please send it in to us straight away.  We would love to have them by 19th january so we can assemble the book properly.

Welcome to 2009!

Happy New Year everyone.  I hope 2009 has kicked off well for you.  We are raring to go after our break and we are in the middle of planning an exciting year for you.

Our first special shopping event is on 30th January.  It is called “Kiss Me” because it is all about Valentine’s Day, love and romance.  Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? 

Watch this space for more information as we come closer to the day.  It will be a one day only event so make sure you book it into your calendars.

Blue Zamboo Events

Have you noticed our new events calendar?

Yes, there isn’t a lot there yet but it is still new.  Keep checking it, though, especially in the new year because we will be having a BIG year of bargain shopping coming your way.

We have plans for some fun events including another Hunt/Chase type event but we have lots more on the boil too.  Be prepared to play and be prepared for great deals.

Today is the last day of our Santa Sleigh Chase.  It has been great fun.
